Meet the Doctor

Dr Mika Ishitani always knew she wanted to influence positive changes in people's lives, that's why she became a Chiropractor.

Back in Japan when she decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, her research revealed the most prestigious school of Chiropractic in the world was Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa . Her research changed her life.

After earning a degree in economics and business in Tokyo , Japan , she moved to the United States to study Chiropractic. After four years of study she received her Doctorate degree from Palmer College . For Dr Mika this was her starting point. Now she could help people restore their health without drugs or surgery. That is her mission.

In order to continue her education, Dr. Mika moved to California and practiced in a large family and accident injury practice in the San Francisco area. This gave her the chance to help a large variety of automobile accident, Workers' Compensation, headache, neck pain and back pain patients.

She also focused on her real love ? the care of children. Dr. Mika is now certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, one of the most honored children associations.

After her marriage, Dr Mika and her husband, Mauro, took a trip to the New England area, and, after taking a wrong road, ended up in Fort Lee by mistake. They fell in love with Fort Lee and decided to open her practice at 1515 Palisade Avenue .

Doctor Mika believes that her mission is to teach people how to regain their health and to keep themselves healthy. That's why in her office, there is never a charge for a patient's first visit and Dr Mika and her staff are always happy to answer their patient's questions about chiropractic and health.
